AN PHU SUPERMARKET District 2 supermarket with a good but unexciting range of food products and booze. Conveniently located in Thao Dien.

ANNAM GOURMET MARKET Well-stocked grocery stores (there are three in HCMC) with a good wine selection and excellent cheeses. Bring your credit card and don't be afraid to use it.

PHUONG HA GROCERY Found on Ham Nghi Street in district 1 and a good find on the Western groceries front – often selling things at better prices than the supermarkets. Other shops nearby stock toiletries and nappies at keener prices compared to other stores.

VEGGY’S Another good place for imported Western and local veggies (as the name rather suggests) and is one of the few stores in this city that sells things like ready-made hummus, tahini and maple syrup.

VOELKER BAKERY Opposite An Phu supermarket, this bakery has wonderful freshly baked breads and croissants. You can order deliveries.
